Brahmatal trek, Known as one of the most attractive treks in uttarakhand, the Brahmatal trek is a great winter trek of Vagabond Holidays, for the nature lovers and adventure seekers also. The Brahmatal trek is classified as a trek of moderate difficulty. You start the trek from an altitude of 7,600 feet at Lohajung and reach a highest point of 12,250 feet at Brahmatal top. You gain around 4,650 ft over two days of trekking. Steeped in mythos, Brahmatal is a lake nestling in the depths of Uttarakhand Himalayas. Winter sweeps alluringly on the slopes here, making Brahmatal one of the rare garhwal Himalayas destinations available for trekking in December, January, February, and March.

Brahmatal give us a panoramic view of the Himalayas with Mt. Trishul and Nanda Ghunti, bird’s eye view of the majestic Roopkund Lake and suitable opportunities to capture the majestic snow-covered peak with their camera. For nature photographers, Brahmatal offers a lot of opportunities to capture nature at its best.

The Brahmatal trek takes one through beautiful valleys, hushed hamlets, streams, and conifers, and oak forests. In winter, the region is covered in a sheath of snow and offered an unparalleled Himalayan view.

Apart from the uneven land, the trek is filled with beautiful landscapes and sprawling forests and a mesmerizing view of the Garhwal Himalayas. Reach 12,250 feet approximately covering around 22 KMs with this trek. Brahmatal is also famous as the winter trek of Vagabond Holidays, taking you to the land of snow and the snow-covered mountains and as you continue trekking you will come across the frozen lake of Brahmatal.

Day 0: Departure From Delhi - Kathgodam

Depart From Delhi to Kathgodam at Night Around 10-11 PM, Overnight Travel……

Day 1: Kathgodam to Lohajung

Arrive Kathgodam at Morning, have rest & breakfast at kathgodam, afther that You will be travelling for Lohajung, 9 hours Drive to reach Lohajung which is 225 KM away from Kathgodam. Will reach Lohajung chcek in the Hotel/guest house have dinner and overnight at the same.

Day 2: Lohajung to Bekaltal

After breakfast, Will start the trek. En route, let your eyes enjoy some awe-inspiring views of Nandaghunti Peak. Trek through the forests of oaks and firs. Conclude the 4-5 hours and 8km long trek after you reach Bekaltal. will stay here in camps.

Day 3: Bekaltal to Brahmatal

Wake up at the morning after thet continue to the trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal. Enjoy the snow covered pathways that let you reach Brahmatal. It will take around 4 hours to complete the trek. The trkking trails go through a forest and when you reach Telindi top, behold the enchanting views of the mighty Himalayas. Continue walking to finally arrive in Brahmatal or Khabekhal Lake. will stay here in camps.

Day 4: Brahmatal to Lohajung

Today, we will track back to Lohajung along the same path you took to reach Brahmatal. After will reach Lohajung, check-in to your guest house and take rest and overnight at the same.

Day 5: Lohajung - Kathgodam - Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Kathgodam and after that will back to home Delhi. You’ll be driven back to Delhi and will reach by late night. Your trip ends here. Keep in Touch with Vagabond…..
