1Alappuzha (or Alleppey)
In the Indian state of Kerala, a town called Thekkady lies close to the Periyar National Park, a popular tourist destination. The term "thekku," which meaning teak, is where the name Thekkady comes from. The coldest months are December and January while the warmest are April and May. Thekkady is 4 kilometres from Kumily, a plantation town on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The sanctuary is well-known for its extensive savanna grasslands, wet deciduous woods, and semi-evergreen and evergreen forests. Elephants, sambar, tigers, gaurs, lion-tailed macaques, and Nilgiri langurs live there in herds.
2Thekkady
The Indian state of Kerala has the town of Munnar in the Western Ghats mountain range. A hill station that served as a former retreat for the aristocracy of the British Raj, it is surrounded by undulating hills that are peppered with tea plantations that date back to the late 19th century. Lakkam Waterfalls, trekking routes, and the 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak can all be found in Eravikulam National Park, which is also the home of the critically endangered Nilgiri tahr.

Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady

Day 04: Thekkady
